Marlborough Sounds and Nelson Lakes

Nelson and Marlborough are two stunning regions located on the sheltered northern coastline of the south island of NZ. Blessed with a milder climate than the regions further south, these regions are abundant in diversity. The landscapes range from golden sandy beaches to cascading waterfalls and lush tropical rainforest. Cycle for six days from East to West along the fiords of the Marlborough sounds, over the Nelson ranges and into the tranquil oasis of the Abel Tasman.
