“Best of the best” Self guided tour

After a lot of research we chose Cycling Tours above the competition as they provide a truly tailor-made service. What really sets them apart is that Sally and Braden are cyclists themselves and their enthusiasm is infectious. They really listened to our requests and were able to organize exactly what we were looking for. The whole trip was planned down to the last detail.
We were provided with all the equipment we needed including maps as well as customized route plans and daily itinerary laminates – which were invaluable. All the accommodation had been handpicked and provided a welcome surprise each day after our ride. We had great fun over the two weeks we spent cycling around The Byron Bay Hinterland and Border Ranges. We spent 3 months travelling through Australia and this cycle tour was definitely the highlight of our trip.

Coastal and Hinterland self guided tour

"Thanks very much for the tour that you organised and supported us on down the Gold Coast and Hinterland. It was very comforting being collected from Coolangatta Airport and taken to Kingscliff for our first nights accommodation and being supplied with the bikes. The 1st days ride was very pleasant and became particularly good when you led us over the 4WD track portion in to Brunswick. The route you gave us on the back roads to Byron Bay over a saddle and through bush areas with virtually no traffic were great. Another new experience for us was riding down the beach to Lennox Head. It sounded daunting but was not too difficult, in fact quite easy and so different. The accommodation that you organised for us in the Hinterland was quite different and really good, particularly in Uki and Speights Siding. Looking forward to coming on another tour with you".

Coastal and Hinterland guided tour

Sally and Braden took us on a hinterland and beach tour around Byron Bay and surrounding area's. It was an exceptional days ride. Not only was the landscape amazing, but the organisation was first class. We have ridden extensively throughout Europe and Australia and this was one of the best rides we have done. These guys cater for all abilities and needs and have a terrific passion for what they do. Would recommend any of their tours to anyone.
