Garmin Edge 800 GPS We use the advanced technology of Garmins latest creation, the first touchscreen colour GPS designed specifically for cycling. We pre-program your daily ride itinerary into the GPS and all you have to do is click "Go". This stylish little machine will make navigation a breeze and it will also track your distance, speed, location and ascent/descent. Panniers and racks Although we do include daily luggage transfers on all of our tours, we also normally put a rack and pannier bags on one of the bikes, so that you can carry extra clothing and personals with you while you are cycling. Comprehensive tour itinerary and maps In addition to the GPS you will also receive a laminated ride booklet, which fits neatly into the clear slide on the handlebar pannier bag. This little booklet illustrates all the information you need about your daily rides, as well as our pick of the best cafes and restaurants each day. Hand Selected Accommodations All of our accommodations have been selected with style, comfort and character in mind. We uncover accommodations that are perfectly suited to the region and the tour. On tour support The concept of self-guided cycle touring is to allow you to have your own freedom. However, when you need us we will be there. Our support vehicle is never far away, so you can rest assured if the unlikely happens, that we will be there to help. We also provide vehicle transfers on some sections of our tours, when the roads are too dangerous to ride or when you opt for smaller distances. Great Food Delicious and hearty breakfasts are included wherever possible on all of our tours and because we love food as much as we love cycling, we also design our daily ride itineraries around cafes that reflect the best of every region. Home-made country dinners are also included in some of the more remote locations, but when you are staying in a village or town we leave it up to you to choose. Airport Transfers We provide transfers to and from the main airport closest to the cycle touring location. |
