Tasmania is a little piece of paradise; located 240km off the south-east corner of mainland Australia. It’s position means that the weather can be varied and unpredictable, so taking a cycle tour over the peak summer months makes it a safer bet.

This has two challenging sections, through the Lindis Pass between Omarama and Wanaka, and then the Crown Range which spans the mountain range between Wanaka and Queenstown.
